CrossHarbor & Boyne to Purchase Moonlight Basin Resort

News just broke that CrossHarbor Capital, the investment firm who owns the ultra-exclusive Yellowstone Club and Spanish Peaks, and Boyne Resorts, owner of Big Sky Resort, are purchasing Moonlight Basin (see links below). The deal would combine all operations into one ski resort with 5,700 skiable acres, 23 chairlifts, and 10 surface lifts over 4,350 vertical feet — making it the largest ski resort in the country in the process. It will be one of the largest resort acquisitions of real estate in the country in the last decade
