David Gerstenberger

Blending a decade of luxury hospitality experience with a deep appreciation for Montana’s mountain lifestyle, David Gerstenberger brings a discerning eye and a client-first approach to his role as Development Specialist for Sales & Marketing. Focused on projects at Moonlight Basin, including Moonlight West and One&Only Moonlight Basin, David helps connect clients with some of the most distinctive real estate opportunities in the Rockies.

Having lived and worked in Big Sky since 2015, David offers an in-depth understanding of the region — its communities, recreational opportunities, and the unique appeal that draws people to Southwest Montana. Before joining the team, David spent ten years with Yellowstone Club, where he most recently led the Outdoor Pursuits Reservations team and oversaw administrative operations for more than 300 ski professionals. His background in creating seamless, high-touch experiences for an exclusive membership community refined his attention to detail, organization, and commitment to service—qualities that now define his work in real estate.

Originally from the Seattle area and a graduate of Gonzaga University, David was drawn to Montana’s wide-open beauty and vibrant community. When he’s not working with clients, he can be found skiing, hiking, mountain biking, or exploring new destinations around the world.
