Originally from the UK, Mia graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in music. During her university years, she was the lead singer of a UK-based funk band called Maji. After graduation, her passion for adventure led her to chase the endless winter as a Snowsports professional, teaching snowboarding and adaptive snow sports in New Zealand, Australia, France, Canada, and the U.S. In 2011, Mia moved to Big Sky and transitioned into real estate after gaining experience as an assistant to a top broker in Vail, Colorado.
Today, Mia is a distinguished real estate professional in Big Sky. Specializing in all facets of the market, she works, lives, and plays in Big Sky, offering an intimate understanding of the area’s unique properties and lifestyle. Mia has earned the Best of Big Sky’s Realtor of the Year award in 2023 and 2024 and is ranked among Montana Real Producer’s Top 25 Agents.
Mia works alongside her husband, Derek, as a trusted real estate team. Together they are raising their two young boys, Finn and Maddox (Mads), and their dogs, Smokey and Midas. As a dedicated community member, Mia currently serves on the board of the Big Sky Housing Trust, focusing on local housing solutions.
