John has had a home in Big Sky since the 1980s and lived full-time since 2010 when he started selling real estate in Big Sky. He is a licensed real estate broker in Montana and North Carolina. John has invested, developed, and sold commercial and residential real estate in Idaho, Montana, North Carolina, Nevada, and Arizona for over 30 years. John is a lifelong entrepreneur, having owned and managed several successful businesses. He was introduced to Big Sky when his father’s international telecommunications construction company installed the first phone lines in Big Sky during the 1970s when the family purchased one of the first homes in the Meadow. His other business ventures include owning a beer distributorship in North Carolina, a Mountain States wholesale sporting goods distributorship, a local exchange telephone company serving rural areas in Idaho, and a Nevada gaming company in Las Vegas, Nevada.
